Outside Sales Executive

Converge Point currently has an opening for a Outside Sales Executive in Houston TX

Job Description

Able to generate new business and achieve monthly revenue goals.
Customer facing activity including calling, prospecting new clients, ongoing development of existing accounts and driving sales.
Call on senior-level executive contacts and manage a highly consultative sales cycle.
Attend trade shows and industry events when required.
Manage and strengthen relationships with existing accounts.
Provide prospects and customers with proposals and demos and sample products.
Prospecting new business manage incoming leads.
Maintain a high lead to sales close conversion rate.
Ability to analyze client business objectives with the technology team and present viable solutions to the client.

Desired Skills

Bachelor's degree a must.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A good understanding of business marketplace
Ability to work autonomously and independently
Ability to build strong client relationships
Industry knowledge - specifically in information technology - is a plus, but not required
Must have at least a year of Sales experience
Must be local to the Houston area
Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Compensation

Base plus commission
