Problem: All of the drafting, reviewing and approval of
global corporate policies were done via email. There was no easy way to track the status of multiple corporate policies created.
Solution:
The
Converge Point team developed a roles based custom workflow policy management portal that enabled the company to draft, collaborate, discuss, review and approve multiple policies on a centralized platform.
Policy creation involved a three step process.
The policy developers draft corporate specific policies for each policy type leveraging the tools available in the portal. An email is send out to the
assigned reviewers for further action.
Reviewers are now able to make suggestions to the policy. Once the reviewers sign off on the policy, the policy is now ready for final approval.
All corporate policies are approved by the assigned approvers. Approved policies become standard corporate policies. The live status dashboard provides details on each corporate policy and their
current status.
End Result: The integration of all policy creation & approval onto a single platform helped the company streamline the policy management process. A real time status dashboard & reports enabled senior management to track & control all corporate policies.
